History of the fall: Following a few detonation resembling to the sound of an automatic gun, a few black stones, as big as a fist, fell to the village, amidst a whizzing noise. Other details are not known, as fierce aerial combats in the area diverted the attention from the meteorite fall. Only four specimens reached public collections because of wartime circumstances. The two smallest one (1.98; 33.14 g) were used as study material, the largest (139.43 g) specimen was destroyed in the 1956 conflagration of the museum, a 49,64 g piece is kept at the Eötvös University.
