Sarolta Erdős is a PhD student at the Institute for Environmental and Landscape Management at the Szent István University, Gödöllő. She was involved in the EASY EU 5th FP. She studied the Skylark breeding ecology in 2004 and 2005 in the Kiskunság. Our recent idea is to study the breeding ecology of Tree Sparrow in landscapes under different agriclutral management intensity. We also plan to quantify the large scale habitat associations of farmland birds in Hungary (cooperation with the Monitoring Centre of BirdLife Hungary).

Anikó Kovács is a graduate student at the Zoology Institute of the Szent István University, Budapest. She studies plants, birds and various arthropods (caugh by pitfall traps and yellow pan traps) in cereal fields. Landscape and soil data and interviews with farmers are also available. We try to establish the relationship between agricultural intensity and biodiversity of cereal fields.
